10 Things You Should Not Do After Winning The Lottery

Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot stands at $181 million after nobody won the jackpot on Tuesday night.  If lady luck decides to smile down on you this Friday and you scoop up this incredible American lottery jackpot then there are a few things you might NOT want to do with your windfall...

Just over a week ago we posted a question on our Facebook page, “What NOT to do after winning the lottery” and the responses where hilarious to say the least.

Here are some of the responses we received:

DON'T let any of your friends know that you won the lottery, they will be knocking at your door consistently.

Door knock

DON'T tell your spouse... or your kids. To be safe, maybe you just shouldn't tell anyone.

The Simpsons

DON'T steal a car or rob the bank you were contemplating the evening before. You don't want to spend your winnings bailing yourself out of jail.

Robbing a bank

DON'T assume that you are now all of a sudden an amazing entrepreneur.

Flying dollars

DON'T take a hundred thousand in cash to the strip club. Never a good idea.

Strip club!

DON'T for one second try and skip out on paying taxes.

Pay your taxes

DON'T
try to "double your money" at a casino.

At the casino

And finally, DON'T run a tab at your local pub and give in your winning lottery ticket as collateral.

At the bar

Winning a jackpot is the best thing. But remember to give God His portion because He is the ONE who made it for you.
