Mega Sena

The Mega Sena was established in 1996 since then it has never failed to impress lottery fans all over the world.

One of the major differences, compared to other lotto games, was the fact that the Mega Sena drew it’s winning Mega Sena lottery numbers from two different drums. During the draw, numbers were selected from two different drums. The first drum, containing the numbers 0 to 5, chose the first digit of the number while the second drum, containing the numbers 0 to 9, selected the second digit. For example, if the first drum selected 2 and the second drum selected 4, the number that would appear on the winning line would have been number 24.

However, the process was changed since draw #1140. The balls are now selected from a single spinning globe.

Mega Sena prize tiers

The Mega Sena only pays out prizes for the top 3 prize tiers. The prize value for each tier is based on a percentage value of the total prize fund (46% of the total lottery earnings).
