CAN DERREN BROWN PREDICT THE UK NATIONAL LOTTERY RESULT?

Popular British mentalist and television star Derren Brown has performed some impressive feats in the past, but surely this attempt is beyond even his incredible powers. He has publicly stated that he will predict the results on the UK National Lottery draw that will take place on Wednesday the 9th of September 2009. He further claims he will reveal how he did it after the EuroMillions draw this Friday.

Brown states that he has no psychic powers and that everything he does can be explained rationally. When asked about the stunt, he simply states: "I realise there are a lot of questions this brings up, and I hope they'll be answered on the Friday night show. For now, I'm really excited and really nervous and cannot tell you for sure how well it will work. Some things just have to be tried." This pre-cognitive attempt will take place in an episode of his new TV special entitled The Events, which will be screened on Channel 4, E4, More4, Film4 and 4 Music. In addition to his daring UK lottery prediction, Derren will further reveal “How to control the Nation”, “How to be a Psychic Spy” and finally “How to take down a Casino” in the remaining episodes of the series. Some say he will be using a type of system to cover every possible combination, others say he will attempt to replace a pre-selected set of numbers with those that are drawn during the National Lottery draw. hey...what a ridiculous and stupid okay, let say indeed u are able to predict and people do believe and all buy the numbers u predicted, so what will we win then? 1st prize 9million pound won by millions of people, then only geww pennies we got bla bla bla...go ahead and predict, but still no use...

I also think it is silly if he reveals his prediction before the draw, but you will probably find he will 'seal' his prediction in a safe and reveal the prediction afterwards. It's a bit like a magician 'forcing a card'. Must say though, I am interested to see what he does.

GOOD DAY WAYNE. IT SEEMS HE DID GET ALL OF THE NUMBERS CORRECT. NO PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR HOW HE DID IT, BUT HIS PREDICTION WAS SEALED AND INVISIBLE TO ALL UNTIL AFTER THE DRAW TOOK PLACE.
